在6月16 日我们将邀请北美新天地视频专栏教育篇主持人汤丽娟女士与大家分享她在亲子教育方面独特的心得，父母应该成为子女的教练而不是单纯的朋友，更不能替代子女的角色，去做本来应当由他们做的事情。这其中的把握度是父母与子女畅通交流的必要条件， 值得每个父母认真思考。

时间: 2012年6月16日星期六，傍晚 6点30至9点
6:30-7:00 为儿童才艺表演，欢迎您的孩子表演他们的才艺，请预先注册、准时到达；
7:00 至9:00 是专题讲座，

汤丽娟女士简介
汤丽娟现任火凤凰文化协会会长，曾任华夏中文学校校刊主编和副总校长，并主管宣传工作。作为作者，她在网络和平面媒体发表过大量散文、短篇小说和随笔。其中很多是有关子女教育的文章。例如：《浅谈美国的儿童教育》《为女铺成五彩路》等等。随着她的女儿进入大学和高中，汤丽娟对子女教育有了更多的心得和体会。在2011年，结合�虎妈� 的议题，她在北美新天地中文网络电视台《泽西杂谈》频道主持了系列电视座谈，引起很多关注。目前她在华夏中部（Montgomery）分校主持子女教育俱乐部，并举办了三期子女教育的座谈和讲座。

The PCE Club presents the 103rd Monthly Event:

How to facilitate effective communication with your child

We are pleased to announce that Ms. Lijuan Tang will give us a talk on �how to facilitate effective communication with your child� on June 16, at our 103rd monthly event. Ms. Tang has been an active writer, authoring numerous essays and articles, many of which are on the topic of parenting and education. She is the current president of Red Phoenix USA, and in the past has served as the chief editor of the school magazine of Huaxia Chinese School and its assistant principal. Ms. Tang�s presentation will focus on effective parenting practices, such as striking a sound balance between setting limits and providing safety net, and between being a friend and an authority figure.

When: 6:30-9:00pm, Saturday, 6/16/2012
6:30 ~ 7:00pm is "Kids Talent Show" program, please register your child if you would like your child to participate this program, come on time.
7:00 ~ 9:00pm is seminar session
