亚裔青少年在学校里的学业成就是有目共睹的。但是我们也时有听到不少亚裔孩子在组织及领导能力上十分欠缺。您的孩子是否也有这样的情况？您有没有兴趣想了解怎样帮助您家的青少年提高组织和领导才能以及人道精神？作为家长，怎么去引导他们往这方面发展？如何找到有关提高和锻炼这些能力的机会和平台？如果您有兴趣，那么欢迎您来参加父母子女教育俱乐部在七月二十一即将举办的104次活动。
俱乐部非常荣幸地请到了长期担任社区及国际狮子会领导职务的黄杰源先生。黄先生出生成长于马尼拉。70年代来美接受高等教育并获得BS和MBA学位。由于黄先生杰出表现和贡献，他先后获得过很多奖项。黄先生还致力于培养青少年成为富有人道精神的人材及未来的领袖人物。在他的倡导下，好几个青少年狮子会在新泽西州先后成立。这次他将来与大家分享他在培养青少年领导能力方面的想法，做法，与自己亲生经历的体会与经验。令我们欣慰的是他的夫人，Mrs. Linnie Hui, 也将到场与我们一起探讨这个主题。Mrs. Hui 是Edison Metros Lions Club的现任会长。这已是她第二次被选容任这个职务。欢迎家长及青少年来参加这次很有意义的活动。
时间: 2012年7月21日星期六，傍晚 6点30至9点
6:30-7:00 为儿童才艺表演，欢迎您的孩子表演他们的才艺，请预先注册、准时到达；
7:00 至9:00 是专题讲座，
地点：802 US 1, Edison, NJ 08817 (Edison金门超市对过向南一点，1号路北向过Audi车行，在Standard Tile同一个停车场 )
费用：会员免费；非会员＄10每家庭（场地费用）

The PCE Club presents the 104th Monthly Event:
Building Youth Leadership
It is not uncommon to hear some Asian American parents �complain� that their children are too shy or too quiet, reluctant to speak in public places, or not eager to take leadership roles, and so on, though many of them are academically high achievers. Do you have the same concern about your children? Are you interested in learning how to develop leadership skills in the youth? If yes, please come to join us in the PCE Club's 104th event to be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012. The club is very pleased to invite Mr. Eddie Hui, a long-term leader in the Lions Clubs and the community, to be our speaker in this leadership seminar.
Mr. Hui is very committed to the service-oriented Lions clubs International that he joined 18 years ago. He has held many leadership positions in the Lions clubs as well as in the community. He also received numerous awards for his leadership and community services. Mr. Hui is committed to motivate youth to become humanitarians and future leaders. In this event, Mr. Hui will cover: 1).The importance of leadership training & public service experience during high school years. 2).What facilities are available for today�s youth? 3). Why Leo club works? 4). Important factors for a successful Leo club. It is also our great pleasure to have Mrs. Linnie Hui at the session. Mrs. Hui is also a devoted community and Lions clubs leader. She is currently the President of Edison Metro Lions Club, which was founded by both of them with a few others in 2006.
When: 6:30-9:00pm, Saturday, 7/21/2012
6:30 ~ 7:00pm is "Kids Talent Show" program, please register your child if you would like your child to participate this program, come on time.
7:00 ~ 9:00pm is seminar session
